Might want to try smtpmail.exe that comes with Legato and is in the nsr/bin
directory.

does anyone know an email (or other?) alternative to using blat to send
notifications? we upgraded to nw 7 and blat absolutely refuses to send
notifications now. we really like the simplicity of blat and would like to
keep similiar functionality. our nw servers are w2k sp4 running nw 7.1.
