It looks like you are trying to attach the autochanger to an
external connector of your MegaRAID card.
AFAIK it won't work, because those controllers don't have code that
would work with anything but disks.
I remember I learned it hard way...

And after the inquire, and the scsi-generic module is loaded, I get the
following:

Attached scsi generic sg2 at scsi0, channel 5, id 0, lun 0,  type 8

sg1 seems to be associating itself with the 1x3 SCSI BP device, but
inquire isn't giving any info on it.

I'm not running into some sort of scsi id conflict, am I? I'm remote to
the actual box...
