If you have enough time to browse on Sun's website you might be able to
find and price out a server suitable for your requirements. One good
practice of ours also is to get specs and quotes from our server
dealer/vendor, at least they know right away the features and upgrade
capabilities of their machines.
Currently on my Networker servers, I have an IBM pSeries 615 2 Way
Power4+ processor, 4 Gb RAM, 144 Gb Disk, with 4 SCSI cards (all used)
and 2 ethernet cards. So far no porblem with it and the STK 9714
jukebox.

Please clarify why you are running a storage node. There might be an
opportunity for you to combine your NetWorker server and storage node
into a single Sun system, but it depends on details you did not
disclose
such as why the storage node is in your environment. Also, what kind
of
network do you use for doing your backups?
