Hallo Thierry,

Thanks for your response. It is helpful. Of course we only need
oldest and lates date. :D

I already try 'sscreate' parameter; and it works in ver 6.x.
Unfortunately 'sscreate' was not recognized at 5.x. *sigh*
Is there better/alternative way? :D

Irwan,

You could add "ssid(22),sscreate" as additional reporting field (-r flag)
in addition with your volume, savetime, %used ....
and, for each volume, gather the oldest and latest sscreate date.
I did so in my HTML reporting tool.

Look at mminfo's man page for the entire list of mminfo reporting
fields.

Thierry

Sorry I forget to mention something. I already used 'savetime'
parameter:

"..
mminfo -a -r 'volume, savetime' > /tmp/nsr/volumes/savetime.txt
.."

But I only found media that still browsable.
For example, for this pool -IN01_DB.xxx- we have 82 tape media (001 - 082).
With above command, we only get tape media list from IN01_DB.078 (since
24-Sep-2003) to IN01_DB.082 (until 30-Sep-2003).
Whereas we need the complete list from first tape; not only browsable tape
media.

In other words, if networker GUI get the complete list for this complete info,
how we can get it from command line; so we can save it on file.
After that we can handle it from spreadsheet program rather than writing
one-by-one
those info (beginning and end of backup time) from GUI to the table/
spreadsheet. :-P

Thank you for your supports and cooperation.

Hallo All,

I need to create a tape list report for current BR systems.
So far I'm using mminfo command:

to listserv AT listmail.temple DOT edu or visit the list's Web site at
