Hi,
Running Bacula 5.0.0, I've finally managed to nail down the details of
an intermittent problem. For various failure
reasons, we occasionally see tapes that are in the "Recycle" state, with "1
byte used". These occur when we've had
insufficient tapes for a job etc, and a tape that wasn't in a changer is
selected for the job.

However, the next time that bacula *should* be using that volume (and Last Used
is well and truly sufficiently in the
past), it doesn't. Purging the volume makes bacula use it, but I don't see why
it's not using a Recycle'd tape that is
old enough.

Any ideas why this is happening? Should I be filing a bug?

Thanks,
Craig
