Yes you could put a second SD in the DMZ however this will probably
not solve the problem because this SD would still have to initiate a
connection to the director to send database updates.
One other option that I use is to rsync the machine that is in the DMZ
to a storage location that is available on the same network as your
director and then use bacula to backup that location. I do this with
our cvs/svn server and it works well.
