why do you want only one pool? you don't always want to use a new tape, it seems you want to reuse your tapes but not the ones of previous month.

you'll just have to reorganize. not very hard to do. make sure you autoprune jobs and files with something just over one month and jsut below three months so that reuse is automatic.
