As I pointed out (and I believe Holger also concurs), this does not
seem to be consistent with the known workings of BackupPC -- unless
there is a permissions or SELinux issue or unless perhaps the
'backups' file is missing/corrupted/inconsistent with the actual
backups present. Or perhaps TopDir doesn't point to /backups (that is
not the 'standard' location of it and perhaps your config file doesn't
point there).
Rather than simply restating what you said before, it might actually
be helpful to give some detail of what actually is in
/backup/pc/hostname and what shows up in the web interface. For
example do any of the backups show up at all? Is the 'backups' file
there? the backupInfo files? the share subdirectories? What if you run
a new backup (or even a small test backup)? Does it show up in the web
interface?

You would also need to run BackupPC_fixupBackupSummary as Holger
pointed out...

If you really want to solve your problem, I would suggest doing some
more troubleshooting on your end and providing details so people can
do more than guess at what the root problem may be...
