That's an interesting theory (I knew about rsync temp file, but I didn't
know it was quiet about missing disk space). Alas, the target system 
has 122 Gb of free space, so it's something different.

I've started to restore another portion of the home dirs, after removing
the 3 files over 64 Mb. We'll see if that one finishes without problem.
