Oh, by the way... The reason I was reading BackupPC-2.0.2_doc.html 
instead of a more recent one is because the current documentation* says 
"See the documentation for more information."  Self-referential, but not 
helpful.  (If there exists some other documentation for 
BackupPC_compressPool, it should say where to find it.)
