Hello,

Could you please help me with this:

I enter on AMRECOVER, sethost and disk. My disk is /fileserver  and inside has a “geral” named folder, so I can browse inside by “cd geral” and list its contents. There is a folder called "Introdu347343o a Engenharia/" and when I try adding to recover I get this:

amrecover> add "Introdu347343o a Engenharia/"

dir "/geral/Introdu347343o a Engenharia" already added

but the list is empty

amrecover> list

amrecover> extract

Extract list empty - No files to extract!

Obs1: My system is in pt_BR(Portugues Brazil) locale and this folder actually is named “Introdução a Engenharia”, it has accents athough aren’t showing on AMANDA index as it should.

Obs2: If there is a file on “/fileserver” disk that has same name as the directory mencioned above it works fine, ex: "Introdu347343o a Engenharia.xls(Introdução a Engenharia.xls), so the problem seems to be only with directories which has spaces AND accentuations, because even big directory names with spaces works fine, ex: “My Folder With Spaces For Exemple”.

Obs3: My dumptype sections does has index yes set already and my tar version does not have problems with accentuations to create/restore files manually.

Obs4: My system is Debian Etch updated and AMANDA version is: 2.5.1p1-2.1.

Atenciosamente,
