I cannot really understand this - on firewall ports between a server and the 
client are opened ALL, and the mistake all the same is (WARNING: proxy: 
selfcheck request timed out.  Host down?). The command (on server)

tcpdump | grep amanda 

shows the following:
12:34:06.611104 IP guardian.809 > proxy.amanda: UDP, length: 117
12:34:16.609470 IP guardian.809 > proxy.amanda: UDP, length: 117
12:34:26.607969 IP guardian.809 > proxy.amanda: UDP, length: 117


That is, from the client data do not come back!!! I cannot understand why!
