Does anyone have a tapetype for this drive? I'm running amtapetype but its

Did you specify an estimate for the capacity? This speeds the
process up considerably.
amtapetype -e 40g ...
The default estimate is 1Gbyte. amtapetape write 100 files (estimated
size divide by 100) in the first pass, and the files of half that
size in the second pass (200 files). If you your drive is 40 Gbyte,
it writes 4000 files + 8000 files; this is slow.
amanda-hackers,
If we change the algoritm to:
first pass: one large file until end of tape;
second pass: the amount of the first pass / 100.
Would this affect the accuracy of the calculation?
