amrestore: could not stat /dev/rmt0.1

Hi. I just upgraded my Amanda tapeserver (running AIX 4.2.3) to Amanda
v2.4.3. When I try to restore a backup, I get the following in
amidextaped.20021218122245.debug:
amidextaped: debug 1 pid 20666 ruid 203 euid 203: start at Wed Dec 18

I reverted to my 2.4.2p2 version of amrestore, and I'm back in business.
But I hate having a multi-version installation of Amanda, so I'd like to
get the new version of amrestore working if possible.
Thanks for reading.
