Hi guys!
We still have several systems running Oracle 9 databases. Some of them
can't be upgraded because the application on top of the database does
not support Oracle 10 (yet). Anyway, Oracle still delivers sustaining
support for Oracle 9, but support for backing up their databases
(through the TDP for Oracle 5.5 client) will end by April 30 next year.
Same goes for the TDP for ERP client. The 5.5 client is the highest
version available for mySAP with an Oracle 9 database and thus it's EOS
next April.
How do you cope with that? I think IBM should come up with a solution
for this, right?
Kind regards,
Eric van Loon
