That is a good idea, I will be sure to do that.  Would it be possible to
execute a command that would allow me to delet the volume contents for
all the volumes that have an access value of offsite?

would something like this work..

delete volume * where access='offsite'

I am not too sure about resets,  but that way one could control and
minimize the # of tapes go offsite would be to use MAXPRocess.
Lower the Maxprocess #, less tape mounts thus can minimize # of tapes
that
go offiste.
