This is normal, since you need to specify "/dev/lb0" and not "lb0" in the
"define path" command. What does the activity log show when defining the path
with /dev/lb0 ?

The "N/A" in the device description might mean that the device driver fileset
is not properly installed or the devices are not properly configured. Can you
send the output of "lslpp -l tivoli.tsm.\*" ?
