I'm using TSM 4.2.1.21.
TCPWINDOWSIZE has a value higher than yours (I'd to see...)
I think in 1 hour we're backing up more info in our actual situation.

Have you ever considered that with a DLT8000 drive and a block factor of
512 you can obtain more than 15Gb/hr? (just using tar, under Solaris:
last year we were in that situation)

We accepted to use TSM because of the disk spooling before moving data
to tape: isn`t it faster?

Well, I'm trying to get some feeling about these topics.
