If you delete the volume with DISCARDDATA=YES, that should delete the DB
entries.

Then the next time the client runs an incremental you should get a new copy
made of anything still on the client machine.
Any older versions of files or files that have been deleted from the client
but not expired on the server are just lost.

If you think there is any part of the tape that is still readable, you can
try AUDIT VOLUME FIX=YES instead of DELETE volume; I think that will give
you the same results, but only for stuff on that tape that is really
unreadable.
