I am having a problem with multiple Management Classes under a single
Policy Domain.

I had the following:

ADSM for AIX Version 3.1.1.5
Policy Domain Name: NT_DISK
  Policy Set name: ACTIVE
  Default Management Class Name: STANDARD
    Management Class Name: STANDARD
      Copy Group Name: STANDARD
Destination Storage Pool: 7137POOL02 (Disk storage pool)

To implement DRM Disk Image and Restore, I defined another Management
Class to send the disk dumps directly to a tape storage pool. I then
had the following:

ADSM for AIX Version 3.1.1.5
Policy Domain Name: NT_DISK
  Policy Set name: ACTIVE
  Default Management Class Name: STANDARD
    Management Class Name: STANDARD
      Copy Group Name: STANDARD
Destination Storage Pool: 7137POOL02 (Disk storage pool)
    Management Class Name: DRMIMAGE2
      Copy Group Name: STANDARD
Destination Storage Pool: 7331DRM2 (Tape storage pool)

The Disk Dumps where properly routed to Storage Pool 7331DRM2. I later
discovered that my regular NT Backups where also being routed to that
Storage Pool rather than the Disk Storage Pool defined for use by the
default Management class.

Has anyone experienced this before? Is the use of more than one
Management Class for a Policy Domain not a good idea? Can I tell to
which Management Class a file is bound?

Thanks
