Hi John,

at first: what you want to do is not adsm-like. adsm means 'incremental
forever' and backup of backups. If you *must* implement the described
scenery, you might fall into trouble.

Usually you make incrementals and leave the tapes in the robot, and once
per day you should copy your stgp *and* database and move them offsite. I
don't understand your mounting problems with copy stgp when you have a tape
robot. If you need 2 copies, you can define 2 stgpools, use them each
another week and delete and reuse the volumes after 2 weeks.
