Hi ADSM'ers
since a few days we observe a dramatic change of elapsed time used for
a "backup db type=3Dfull devclass=3Dexb-10i-s vol=3D......"
Normally it took ca. 1 hour for a 430000 pages DB each working day.
Now it takes nearly 1 day.

The only change was a PTC (positive temperature coefficient) trip on the
F&W SCSI-2 SE Adapter-card when we inadvertently connected a differential=
=20
ended tape robot to the single ended SCSI-bus causing a SRN 890-098.
The PTC-trip was recovered by switching the machine off for more than=20
5 minutes. The adapter runs ALL the disks connected to the ADSM-server.=20

Any ideas wether there may be some side-effects causing the strange
behaviour ?
