Hi Tim,
You have not stated what your AIX level is ?
If it is 4.1 then you can take a mksysb to a file or across the network.
If it is 3.2.5 and you can't or don't want to upgrade then maybe you should
take a look at something call Sysback available from IBM which can do this
for you, talk to your ibm rep.
