You don't.
A smartset is a set of objects for the NetView object database, with common
characteristics, period.
You can however make smartsets which are super sets of other smartsets.
For example if you had you could create a smartset of Cisco routers (vendor
Cisco and isRouter=True), and one of Nortel routers (vendor Nortel and
IsRouter=True), and then make a smartset of All routers by combing those,
(inCollection = CiscoRouters and inCollection = NortelRouters)
