I think I already answered your question. I'm not going to get into the
architecture of the Tivoli Data warehouse (TEDW) here, except to say this.
If you purchase the Tivoli Data Warehouse and DB2, and install them
correctly, then snmpCollect will write to DB2, staging the data for the
ETL's which run nightly. Any attempt to do this without the Data
Warehouse is both unsupported and a violation of your license agreement.
So you options are limited to TEDW or a roll-your-own solution.

Thanks for responding.
The first option what you told regarding datawarehouse
will require the source database so that it can fetch
from source database and populate central
datawarehouse. So netview have to store the data in
DB2 for datawarehouse to work.
Does netview for linux integrates with DB2 directly?
If yes how this integration of Netview with DB2 can be
obtained?
