Now I have to take it back. I just read Jame's post from 8/19 (Re: [nv-l] NV map question). You can turn off the child area in /usr/OV/app-defaults/OVw.
        OVw*viewAreaHasScrolled:        False

       OVw*viewAreaHasControl:         False


Read the file for more information. I have not tried this. I just use the nav tree to clear them when they get full, and Maximize/Minimize on the context menu when I temporarily want more screen space.

Not that I have ever seen. The purpose of the maximize function is to give more screen. It appears to be all or nothing.

Hi All, is there anyway in Netview Solaris 7.1.4 to disable the ViewChildren Area and not the View Stack in the main EUI window?.
