Yes.

You may be missing your shared library links in /usr/lib

For every library in /usr/OV/lib, you should have a symbolic link in /usr/lib

You can use the following command to rebuild the links.  Error messages simply
mean you already have the links (or you have made a major mistake :-)

find /usr/OV/lib -exec ln -s {} /usr/lib \;

Please double check your syntax before you run the command.  If you like you can
create a temporary library, say, /usr/tstlib.  Then substitute it in the command above to
test.  After you are satisfied with the results, you can run it against /usr/lib

If you have any subdirectories in /usr/OV/lib (you should not) let me know first what it is.

Geo.

Re: [nv-l] netnmrc warning

Thanx George,
you were absolutely right.
Now netnmrc doesn't complain about anything
BUT
i still have difficulty to open the map.
Only root can open it and any other user fails.
When we try to open the map we all get the message:
WARNING: Cannot access message catalogs.
PROBABLE CAUSE: locale en_US is not installed
and in the user's log in /usr/OV/log we get:
ld.so.1: nvauth: fatal: libdirent.so: open failed: No
such file or directory
Any recommendations???
