Hello,
You indeed missed something on restore.
We install these in /usr/bin and /usr/OV/bin
on solaris:
/usr/bin/dspmsg
/usr/bin/dumpmsg
/usr/bin/lsgroup
/usr/bin/lslpp
/usr/bin/lsuser
/usr/bin/odmadd
/usr/bin/odmdelete
/usr/bin/odmget
/usr/bin/rexec
You can create links in /usr/bin or
copy them from /usr/OV/bin

Hi all,
NV7.1.3 FP2 , Solaris 7
when i tried to start netview after a partial restore
i got the following:
WARNING: Cannot access message catalogs.
PROBABLE CAUSE: locale en_US is not installed
Only root can open the map.
When i run "ovstop nvsecd" and then run netnmrc,
i got the following:
/etc/init.d/netnmrc[173]: dspmsg: not found
/etc/init.d/netnmrc[257]: dspmsg: not found
/etc/init.d/netnmrc[260]: dspmsg: not found
but all the daemons run ok!!
Everything in /usr/OV is there, but for some reason it
cannot find dspmsg (or something else?).
At least that's what i understood.
Maybe i missed something when i restored (probably
outside /usr/OV).
Any ideas???
