Yes, but there have been fixes to that code in NetView 7.1.3. So there will be problems.
NetView 5.1 has been out of support for over 5 years. Why would you want to switch to that? If you are entitled to run 7.1.3 for Windows then you are entitled to run 7.1.3 for UNIX. They ship in the same box and have the same licensing conditions

Hello People,
I found some postings on the forum mentioning that NetView 7.1.3 on NT does not support SNMP V2 traps and that trapd will either ignore v2 traps or die trying to process them. What I am trying to find out is which version of the NetView AIX started supporting SNMP V2 traps? Does Netview V5.1.x on AIX support SNMP V2 traps?
