Hi John,
I guess I'm biased because I am far more a Unix person than a Windows
person. That said, when folk ask me whether to implement NetView on
Unix or Windows, one of my first question is always whether TEC
integration is a requirement. If it is, I would strongly advise NetView
on Unix for the reasons you have found. Mebbe, it's just me, but I have
also seen lots of problems with the Windows TEC adapter quietly
disappearing whereas the Unix nvserverd seems pretty reliable.
My two-pennorth,
Jane

Thanks James, I'll give it a go.
A quick question, would I have saved myself a lot of effort,
forwarding new stuff to the Tec,
with Netview on Linux instead of NV on NT2000.
