John,

I am trying to load a Siteminder MIB which is a SNMP v2 mib so that I can
monitor this application. I used the Web Browser to integrate the MIB yet
with the MIB Browser I could not see any of the Siteminder specifics (I can
browse my other MIBs I integrated which are SNMP v1).

JT,

Caveat: this command is depreecated that's why it's no longer visible from
the GUI.

Caveat2: if your purpose for loading mibs is to be able to select the
element as a target of data collections/thresholds, you'll be
dispappointed to find that the snmpcollect GUI can't see the mib's
loaded by xnmloadmib2 (because that gui uses xnmbrowser which sees the
v1 mib tree only).

Which leads us to: What is your purpose for loading these mibs?

About the only thing loading v2 mibs in this way accomplishes is that
you can tghen use xnmbrowser2 to browse the mib hierarchy
interactively. I'm not even sure if trapd uses that v2 hierarchy for
resolving OID's in traps? Perhaps someone else does.
