Dear all,
My customer has a Layer-4 switch named Nortel Passport 8600, and insert
a WSM module on it. If I want to get the SNMP information about Passport
8600, I need to use community name A; if I want to get the SNMP information
about the WSM module, I need to use community name B, to the same IP
address. My problem is that in Netview I could set only one community name
for a specific IP, but in this case, there are two community names
correspond to two different devices on the same IP, in other words, I could
get SNMP information about one of them at the same time. My customer would
like to collect the MIB information of "both" ( use the data collection
function of Netview ), how should I do? any hints may help, thanks........
