Hello NetViewers,

we have a problem with nodes that are configured for snmp status polling
(in the seedfile, each with two entries: with and without '$' ).
When netmon discovers these nodes everything's OK, they are being polled
by snmp (verified by netmon -a 8).

If netmon is stopped and restarted, they are polled by icmp !?!
Sometimes a demandpoll to these nodes helps netmon to change them back
again to snmp status polling.
Strange ...

Our Environment:
NV 6.0.1 with new libnvsnmp.a
AIX 4.3.3 on a SP/2
seedfile with IP-Addresses only
netmon flags: -P -S -s/usr/OV/conf/seedfile -u
-G/usr/OV/conf/mlmseedfile -CMLM_ -Y
(the nodes above are not delegated to an MLM).
9000 objects in objectDB

Maybe this is fixed in 6.0.2 (although it is not listed in the defects
fixed) ?

Any help/experiences are appreciated.

regards
