Check to make sure that the Event Browser is showing "All Events" and that "Log
Only" ones are included. Click the Filter--> Set menu button and then the "
>>Options" button there and view the Categories. By default "log Only events"
are not shown and most events added by mib2trap are defined as "Log Only".
If they still aren't there then I would start by verifying that they are being
sent. Does Netfinity forward traps in the usual way, to port 162/udp? That
would be the best way to do it if that is a configurable option. Can you get an
iptrace showing them leaving the Netfinity box and arriving at the NetView box?
Is there a log on Netfinity showing a successful send?

I understand the configuration required for the TEC Adapter. The events are not
showing up into Netview but they do in Netfinity. I loaded the Netfinity MIBS
into Netview, but am wondering how to further troubleshoot the arrival of SNMP
events into Netview. The SNMP service on the servers are configured properly.
The TEC material i understand. Sorry about the confusion.
