Do ovobjprint -S and look at the number of objects. Then check the ovwdb
cache size (ps -ef | grep ovwdb and look at the -n value). Is the cache
size at least 20 per cent bigger? If not, use the Configure menu in the
Tivoli GUI to make it that way. Then restart the daemons and see what
happens.

Subject: ovwdb - high CPU

Hi all,

I've copied a NetView DB from one server to another (tar, reset_ci) both
on the same subnet. Everything seems fine except that the ovwdb process
uses an average 70% of CPU ... At first I thought the db was
synchronizing, but the transfer has been done 7 days ago !!!

Could anyone help me investigate the problem ?

Thanks.
