OS: Windows Server 2008R2 x64

NBU: 7.0.1 x64

I am re-acclimating myself with NBU after a 1.5 year absence, so please bear with me.  I am trying to configure a fresh install between two servers and have the client write directly to the disk of the master.  When I enter the master server name, during the client install, it says it cannot connect/contact the master server.  I can ping the master server by name and IP, so the network and DNS are fine.  Do I need to add the name of the client server somewhere on the master?  Should I use the x86 version of NBU instead?

Even though I do not have a tape device connected, do I still need to install the Symantec driver?  I only ask because I noticed an unknown PCI device, in Device Manager.  If so, is there a driver for 2008R2 x64.

Thanks,

James McDonald
