We dropped the NSR speed to 2gb instead of 4gb.  Our library apparently will 
handle the slower speed better.

Thanks for the help.  I was told that adding another NSR could potentially 
overheat the system.

I used to have the similar problems with NSRs locking up.  Look at the
cost of fiber cards ($1,000) each or so for dual port 4gbps, you would
need a few of those, and then no more lockups, it may be worth
considering?
