Hi all,
By mistake on our Master Server properties, i have set as primary master
server one of the media servers.
At the moment i get several errors when i try to open the Administration
Console (on master and media servers)
- Unable to read configuration: cannot connect on socket 25
- Unable to connect to the Enterprise Media Manager Server. EMM server
failed to process the request (78).
On master server the following sereral services fail to start:
1. NetBackup Database Manager
2. NetBackup Device Manager
3. NetBackup Job Manager
4. NetBackup Policy Execution Manager
5. NetBackup Request Manager
6. NetBackup Service Layer
And on Windows event viewer i get the following errors:
Event Type: Error
Event Source: NetBackup Request Daemon
Event Category: None
Event ID: 514
Date: 1/30/2007
Time: 3:33:08 PM
User: N/A
Computer: Comp1
Description:
Cannot contact NetBackup bpdbm. Terminating.
Event Type: Error
Event Source: NetBackup Device Manager
Event Category: None
Event ID: 0
Date: 1/30/2007
Time: 3:29:43 PM
User: N/A
Computer: Comp1
Description:
Failed to validate this host with the EMM server
Also when i execute:
nbemmcmd -getemmserver
i get the following error:
NBEMMCMD, Version:6.0MP4(20061102)
Unable to get the local EMM server for the following reason: "cannot connect
on
socket"
Is there any way i can reverse this wrong configuration?
Thanks a lot for your help.
