Check the manpage for bpbackup.
You list all the files you want backed up in a textfile, and feed it to
bpbackup with the -f option.
Once backed up, a regular restore of all files in that image will drop
everything on the destination box.
Keep in mind the file attributes and ACLs will be completely hosed going from
one OS to another......at a minimum.....I've never intentionally tried it in
that direction, but have restored from a windows backup image to a solaris
host, so I assume the reverse would work as well.
This sounds like a "migration" attempt of some sort though....so be forewarned,
you probably won't get any support from Symantec/Veritas, as they explicitly
state that Netbackup is not a migration tool.*

*I Don't have a citation for this statement, nor do I think it would be very
easy for them to "prove" what you are doing is indeed a migration and not an
actual restore, so YMMV.
