You can do two things.

1) Go to Veritas' Backupexec site www.backupexec.com I think, and
download the latest and greatest version of 10d. They release fixes and
patches for backupexec ALL THE TIME. Alternately, you can use the
"update" feature in the program files menu.

2) See if there is an updated device template for your version of
backupexec. Usually they get released in updated versions of the
product but its not unheard of for people to have to manually install
them.

3) Check with Dell and see what they have for Backupexec. Sometimes you
need to configure the library a certain way (M4 vs. Autonomous) etc...
Or they might have a special executable to get backup exec to recognize
the devices.

Good luck!

Hello all

In connection with a new BackupExec server we got a SCSI-attached
PowerVault 124T with 1 LTO3 drive.
Both the robot and drive can be seen in the Windows device manager, but
we can't get BackupExec to se the PV124T.

Any ideas/suggestions ?

Regards
Michael
