Martin,

            Here's what I do.  I wrote a perl CGI script that offers a web
form in which you can enter a prefix (e.g. XYZ) and the starting and ending
numbers of the range you want (e.g. 150 and 199).  It then emits PostScript
that, when printed, contains all the labels you want.  I use this to replace
"commercial" labels that have become scratched and also for special sets of
labels.  Let me know if this is of interest to you.
