vmoprcmd is the text-based tool that shows the same info as the GUI =
device monitor. I can also be used to up, down, & reset drives.

"vmoprcmd -d ds" is the form that shows "drive status", that'll show the =
TLD/AVR/DOWN field.

It's not going to reestablish any connections - if you're rebooting the =
library to do this, I'm going to suggest that you have a hardware, OS, =
or driver error, not a Netbackup problem.

Can I ask what this command does? Its just that I have a small NBU 3.4 =
environment with a problem with the tape drives going to AVR status =
rather than TLD.

I can power off the robot / back on and that sorts it, but does this =
command re-establish communication or something to bring the drives back =
into status?
