We had an issue with this on backing up some old Compaq Tru 64 servers. It=
=20
turned out to be caused by a mis-match between
the NIC on the Compaq and the Cisco switch.    After the settings were=20
changed, the backup runs 90% of the time,=20
and usually works OK.  I don't remember the exact problem, but it had to=20
do with the way the network speed was=20
negotiated.  The old NIC could not do "100FDX no autonegotiate" like the=20
NIC on the switch.  I think we reset the
NIC on the switch to allow a slower speed.  The backups are slow but the=20
usually work now.  We still get 41 errors, but the=20
next try usually works.

For the last 2-3 weeks I?ve gotten and error 41 Error bpsched(pid=3D3668)=

suspending further backup attempts for client schveriscan, policy=20
Veriscan, schedule Sun_Daily_Cum_Inc because it has exceeded the=20
configured number of tries
=20
I?ve increased the number of tries and increased the number for client=20
timeouts but did not work.  I?ve double checked all of the network=20
connections and settings and everything seems to be fine.

Has anyone come across this issue before and if so what did you do to=20
correct it?=20
