[Veritas-bu] Adic 2000i (DELL PV160T) versus IBM 3584

Michael:
You will need to have the VTL-disk piece tied to a library so that you
can offsite the tapes. We have older ADIC hardware here and it works
fine. I have heard good things with the i2K from other shops. I do not
have any experience with IBM hardware. They are probably good. IBM does
well with hardware (their OS on the other hand...).

Hello All
We are about to buy a new robot and the choice stands between Adic 2000i
(DELL PV160T), IBM 3584 or an EMC CDL. We are an only pure windows shop
running NetBackup 5.1MP2.
I would like to hear your opions on these robots, specially when
connected to a Windows 2003 server.
Regards
Michael
