[Veritas-bu] Moving media server

I've got about 60 tapes I need to move to a new media server (replacing
old hardware). Does anyone know, if I import the tapes on the new media
server, do they become unusable in the old server? That is to say, could
I use them in the old server (if needed) without having to reimport them
back so long as I haven't used them for backups on the new server?
