Hello Chris,
I submitted an email script to the forums at
http://www.netbackup-usergroup.de.vu. This script uses the output of bpdbjobs.
It's written in VBS. If you are familiar with VBS it should not be a big deal
to calculate the time you need. If bpdbjobs don't have the values you need it
will get hard to find the exact time. I think you'll have to parse the logfiles
then.
Best Regards
Martin

Betreff: [Veritas-bu] How to get total writing time for a job
Hello all,
I need to find a good way to get the total amount of writing time for a job
from the command line or file. In the GUI, this is displayed under the detailed
job information in activity monitor.
I've tried using bpdbjobs -all_columns but I only get the start time (or queued
time) and the end time. I guess I could somehow use those to figure out the
total time a job ran, but what I really need is a start/stop for the time the
job is actually writing to tape.
Does anyone know a good way to do this on Windows?
Thanks,
Kris
