Hi!  we have hp-ux master server and win2k SAN media servers. (SSO enabled)

Software:  Netbackup 5.0 MP1

Problem:  We've had inconsistent media errors for our backups even for catalog 
backups.   For 3 days it would work fine then suddenly it would fail.  It's 
complaining about:

     1.  media not mountable/media problem/down drive

     2.  frozen tapes

We've had the hardware vendor check the robot for hardware issues but it's all 
good on that end..no error messages and it passed all h/w tests(demo).

what could be the problem?
