I usually dump the database with mysqlhotcopy to a smb mount (on my NT
box, that already has a license), and when the NT server gets backed up,
so does my MySQL backup.

I can send you a script if you like.

Does anyone use NBU to back up these type of Databases? I'm curious if

you're using one of the Veritas Netbackup Agents for them or if you're

just using the mechanisms within the database software itself to handle

writing out the database then backing up that duplicate.
