[Veritas-bu] problem adding new drive to our L180

Depending on what target was added, you may have to modify the
/kernel/drv/st.conf file. You might also try & see if the "sgscan tape"
command shows the drive.
If you shutdown to the bios, you might try:
setenv auto-boot? false
reset-all
probe-scsi-all
Make sure the new tape drive is visible with the probe-scsi-all.
...when done...
setenv auto-boot? true
boot

Subject: [Veritas-bu] problem adding new drive to our L180
STK installed a new drive (the third) to our L180 connected to a SUN running
NetBackup 4.5. I did the following but the Sun doesn't see the new drive.
touch /reconfigure
shutdown the SUN server and L180
installed the drive and verified that the robot had three drives
brought up the SUN server
Any ideas would be appreciated.
