I would check out that script and make sure that there isn't anything
strange in their.

Sorry - mistake in previous post - that should read:
My backup_exit_notify script capture script records the same error 174.
This is the master server script, not the client script.

Is there any chance the bpend_notify scripts have been changed on any of the
problem systems? We saw a similar issue and it was due to the client package
that we were depolying having an erroneous bpend_notify script.

OK - let me ammend this - all things are not as they originally seemed.
Output from bpdbjobs shows error 174 - Media Manager System Error
My bpend_notify script capture script records the same error 174.
The error mailed from the preconfigured mail-the-admin-on-failures part of
NB sent an error 150.
So - two questions:
1. Why the discrepency?
2. what's doing the capture and mailing from the NB preconfigured mail.

Several times now, I've gotten an error 150 (User termination) on my nightly
backups. However, I know that nobody actually terminated the job.
This past night's were on filesystems directly (scsi) connected to the
master/media server so there should be no network or other communication
issues.
Is anybody else having this problem? Know what to do?
